Digital Bootcamp December ’17 Highlights

The month of December was a different month for Digital Bootcamp. Knowing that December is a really stressful, intense month for most ministers, I choose to use the month to focus on Christmas and to not have one of the regular contributors share (don’t worry, they will be back in January!!).

With the focus solely on Christmas, below are the blogs, podcast and vlog playlist that you can check out and learn from, especially as you look forward to next year.

Blogs: Christmas Themed Social Media Posts you can do

Podcast: FREE Ways You can Encourage People to Invite Friends to Christmas Events

Vlog Playlist: Countdown to Christmas

Conclusion

Christmas is a very important time of year for the Church. It can be a time of great ministry opportunities which can help grow your Church. Not only can you do some great stuff for the community, but you can also maximize your potential reach by making sure your communication material is up to date, volunteers are encouraged and taken care of and members of your Church know how to reach their friends and family.

Above were some of the highlights of the month. However, there was a lot of great discussion from the entire month that is still on Digital Bootcamp. Scan through it all and check it out to see what sticks out to you.

After you scan the Group, share what topic, blog or video that stood out to you from the topics we covered in December. Share your thoughts below or social media using #ymsidekick when you post.

And if you haven’t joined in on the fun at Digital Bootcamp, get in now as it’s a great opportunity for ministers to learn digital tools to help expand their reach.
