3 Ways to Encourage Staff Sharing on Social Media

Social media is a great tool for Churches or ministries to use to start conversations and share encouragement and hope. One of the ways to do that is through by posting valuable content. Then, hopefully, people will like it and share it.

Even though it may seem obvious that staffers (and volunteers) would share about what’s happening and what’s encouraging from your Church or ministry, it doesn’t always happen. In fact, some Staffers may not even be following your social media accounts. So, watch this video, listen to the podcast version or check the bullets below to find the 3 ways you can encourage staff sharing on social media.

  1. Staff Meeting Tutorials. As the leader of the staff meeting if you could hold tutorials at Staff Meeting to encourage sharing on social media with the staff as a whole. It can be just 5 minutes but the more you can do that, the more sharing or engaging on your Church’s social media channels can happen.
  2. Send Weekly Email with Samples. Send Emails with questions they can be asking or sample posts they can be sharing for big events
  3. Meet Individually or as a Department. Here you can meet up with individuals or as a whole department team and work with them on how they can be sharing on social media.
