ORANGE WEEK: What is Orange?
If you have followed the previous incarnations of this blog (i.e “Not a Mega Church” and “Ministry Blackboard”) you will probably notice that I blog about this thing called “Orange” a bunch. Some may know what Orange is (and I hope you do). But some may not know anything about “Orange“.
In its simplest form, Orange is a family based curriculum that is developed from the reThink Group. Orange was founded by Reggie Joiner and is notably connected with Andy Stanley’s church, North Point Community Church.
Orange really seeks to ask the question, “What if church leaders and parents synchronized their efforts to fuel wonder, discovery and passion in the next generation?”. That is why they seek to combine the critical influences of the light of the church (yellow) and the love of the family (red). The Orange Strategy shows a generation who God is more effectively than either could alone.
For a visual idea of what the Orange Strategy is about, check out this video below.
For more information on the History of Orange and to explore all that they offer for Preschool, Elementary School, Middle and High School, and College, click the respective links. There is a difference between and Orange and everyone else as I’ll be taking a look at the Training difference and the Orange Tours going on currently in the next few days.
No matter what, if you want to experience Orange at its best, there is no better way than to go to the Orange Conference. Check it out and sign up on Oct. 10th for a discounted rate.
