the Monday Morning Debrief: Seeing things from a different view
Back when I was growing up, Dead Poets Society was a very popular movie. Not because it was filled with action, violence and making a lot of money, but because he hit a nerve with so many people. People connected with the characters and the story in a way that they were challenged in their thinking about life.
As I was researching the last scene of the movie for an upcoming talk, I stumbled upon this clip that I found fascinating. It spoke to me and I wonder what you think. The 1st 40 seconds is the part that caught my attention.
One thing I always strive for is to keep looking for solutions and learning (at least that is what my Strength Finder’s say). That is why this movie clip struck a cord with me. It challenged me to keep seeing things from different viewpoints or ways.
So I was curious, what did you think? Is there something you “know” that you need to look at differently in your personal life or ministry? If so, what do you need to do and how can you do it?
