How ReThink Leadership can help Senior Leaders improve their Leadership Game

The spring is a great time to get refreshed and energized. You go from a cold and sometimes very dreary winter season into this warmer weather season where plants begin to bloom, the sun stays out longer and families become consumed with spring activities. It’s a wonderful time of year, especially if you are looking to grow in your leadership development.

Whether you are a student minister, family minister or even Senior Pastor, being an effective leader is crucial to your success. That is why I look forward to the Orange Conference each year. I have learned so much over the years and has dramatically impacted the way I do ministry.

While the Orange Conference has helped me become a better and more strategic leader, it has been primarily known for leaders ministering to families. Senior ministers have always been invited to the Orange Conference, however, there wasn’t always a huge place for them to learn and grow themselves. That changed a few years ago when ReThink Leadership was created out of the Conference. Designed specifically for Senior Leaders at Churches, ReThink Leadership was and still is a game-changing event.

I had the opportunity to attend the very first ReThink Leadership (2016) and I loved it for a variety of reasons.

  • LeadershipThe speakers. At most conferences a speaker will get up on stage in front, share and then be done. At ReThink Leadership the speaker shares in a Ted-talk like style and then gets interviewed to further process his or her presentation. Also, these are leaders who are Christians, not Christian Leaders at just Churches. So their expertise is in the real world, not just Christian organizations. It’s a great mix of voices and in a format that is fresh.
  • The smaller crowd. Conferences can be attended by a massive amount of people. Not at ReThink Leadership. It’s capped at a smaller number of Senior and Campus Pastors as it is designed to be an intimate setting with table discussions and interactions. It’s a great environment to network and share war stories and victories with others.
  • The Affinity Groups. Affinity groups are a different way to do breakouts. The presenter is actively engaging with the groups and there is real discussion that goes on during these groups. It is less about presenting the information and more about discussing the topic together.
  • The connection with Orange. Not only do you get great interaction with Senior leaders, but you still get to experience the Orange Conference, the premier Family Ministry conference in the world. You’ll get to hear from other ministry leaders at the conference share and encourage your whole team. It is an extremely powerful and momentum creating opportunity for your whole team.

ReThink Leadership is different way to do a conference and it is a great way for Senior Leaders to shake off the winter cobwebs and get a jolt for the spring. From speakers and presenters that engage with the attendees to an intimate setting where learning and discussions can happen to a connection to another great conference that you get to experience with your ministry team, you get it all at ReThink Leadership. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to have the Spring kickstart a fruitful ministry time. Sign up today.
