Ministry is great and there is so much great stuff that can come with God’s blessings, direction and your hard work. However, as great as ministry can be, where ministry and a “regular job” differs is that ministry isn’t a 9 to 5 job. You are always “on” when you work in ministry no matter what your job is.
Having a mindset and culture in your Church of always being “on” can cause many boundaries to get blurred. So what can you do? Do you just deal with it because you are in ministry or is there something you can do so you don’t get destroyed and lose everything (health, marriage, family, life, etc)? Thankfully Jeanette Yates joins me today as we talk about setting up boundaries so you can be healthy at home and on the job.
In addition to this, I hit up Jeanette with 3 quotes from That Church Conference 2019 and get her fresh takes from them. Make sure you check out That Church Conference as it’s a great conference for Church Communicators.
