Do You Really Need an App?

Back when Apps started being developed for smartphones there was the phrase, “there is an app for that” referring to that if you are looking for something, you can find it on an app. And there really were apps for anything and the app business just kept grown and growing.

Apps were so popular that even Churches and ministries started to see if they should be using apps. In addition, weekend retreats and conferences began to develop and use them as well.

And while it might be nice to have an app, do you really need one? Find out what is best for your ministry, Church or conference by watching this video, listening to this podcast or reading the rest below.

So, should your Church, ministry or conference get an app? Simple answer is no. Here is why.

  • They can be costly
  • If in student ministry, not every student can download apps without parents permission/screen time
  • If you go cheap, you run the risk of inappropriate ads on your app.
