22 Fall Social Media Questions to Ask
The cooler weather, the crispness in the air and all the candy and food you can eat. That is what I think of when it comes to the fall season. I really do love the spring and summer months but fall brings a break of the summer heat and sets the stage for 3-4 months of shear joy and celebration. We have Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. All of these events are big events that a lot of people participate in. And because of this, they provide Churches and ministries wonderful opportunities on social media to engage your community and get some great discussion going.
Here is a list of social media questions you can ask.
- Would you rather go to a corn maze or haunted house?
- Do you eat pumpkin seeds? If so, how?
- What is your favorite fall dessert to eat?
- What candy do you prefer to eat around Halloween?
- Would you rather have a candy apple or caramel apple?
- What is your favorite scary movie?
- What is your favorite Halloween or Thanksgiving cartoon television special?
- Who would win in a fight? Vampires, Werewolves, Witches or Zombies? Why?
- If you could dress up as any character or thing for Halloween, what would you dress up as?
- Which fall tradition would you get rid of?
- What is your favorite fall tradition?
- Pumpkin carving or decorating, what would you do?
- What is your favorite drink to enjoy in the fall?
- Pumpkin Spice Latte or Apple Cider? What would you rather drink?
- What is a favorite fall memory when you were younger?
- What are you thankful for?
- Who is a friend you are thankful for?
- What is your favorite thanksgiving food? Least favorite?
- What pumpkin patch do you like to go to?
- Do you eat pumpkin pie with or without whipped cream?
- Do you prefer canned cranberry sauce or made from scratch?
- Will you listen to Christmas music before Thanksgiving? Or do you wait? Why?
Social media questions are alway great ways to engage and interact with those in your community. The above list is a good sample of questions, but there are bound to be more. Keep looking for different questions you can ask and keep engaging your community. These may not be “spiritual” questions to ask, but by simply engaging your community with these seasonal questions, the more likely they will be responsive to the spiritual or Church related questions when you ask them. And, starting conversations that lead to conversations about Jesus and faith are a big part of what we are trying to do on social media to be Digital Missionaries. Choose to be a Digital Missionary by engaging your community today and see what God does.
