3 Tips When Leading Spaces on Twitter

Twitter Spaces is a great audio based opportunity for people to have discussions on Twitter. It is very similar to Clubhouse. While any person on Twitter can use Spaces, Churches have some great opportunities too. Here are the basics for Twitter Spaces.

As with a lot of things, one of the best ways to learn how well something works is to actually do it. So, I spent some time doing some Twitter Spaces Bible Studies. In this video, on the podcast and on the bullet points below, I will share 3 things I have learned about doing Spaces on Twitter.

Find the right time to do it. You can host Spaces on Twitter at any time, but every audience is different. What works best for one person leading a Twitter Spaces doesn’t always work for another. So find out the best time for your audience and go with that.

Plan it out. Plan out exactly what you want do do and be prepared to share a lot of information. Don’t rely on people in your Space to share, especially at first. Be prepared to share content and don’t base your time on just discussion.

Promote. In fact, promote well in advance. Let people know when you are going to do it at least a week out. Pin it to the top of your Twitter profile and share it on other platforms. The great thing with Spaces on Twitter is that you can schedule them out so schedule one and share the link with others.
