The BIG Announcement

I’ve been teasing it all last week on social media and in the Sidekick Scoop newsletter. So what was the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT? Well, starting today, October 25th I will be blogging and podcasting as part of The Church Digital.

A little over a month ago Jeff Reed and I had a discussion about what it would look like for the two of us to work together more. I have a ton of respect for Jeff Reed and what he is doing with Churches and ministries around the world. And, working with him would provide me with a greater opportunity to help and encourage more people. Check out the video announcement.

So what does this mean for us? How will things change? Honestly, not much will change but here is what it will look like moving forward:

• Sidekick Scoop Weekly Email will continue to happen and remain unchanged. If you haven’t signed up for it yet, click the link to get a Friday email highlighting ministry content and encouragement from all over.
• Digital Bootcamp Facebook Group will continue to happen and remain unchanged! This is PERFECT for all ministry leaders looking to learn more digital and online tools to help them in their ministries.
• YM Sidekick Podcast is transitioning into TCD Sidekick Podcast. The link remains the same, just the title different. The format will also remain the same as I will be interviewing ministers who are applying digital strategies to their ministries.
• The Digital in 5 Show just wrapped up season 2. You can catch all the episodes there still. Still processing a potential season 3 to be released in early 2022 as part of the Church Digital Podcast Network. Stay tuned to TheChurch.Digital for more info.
• YMSidekick.com will remain up as the content there can still apply to ministries. But, all new content I write or record will appear on TheChurch.Digital. So make sure you check there everyday and subscribe to the posts as new content will be published almost every day from a variety of sources.

So, that is the Big Announcement. Some new things are happening and it’s really exciting. And while the destination may change for a few things, the same great content will continue. And remember, I will ALWAYS be your Sidekick in ministry looking to help and serve you in any way possible.
