Children’s Ministry Q of the Week: Curriculum

It seems like everywhere I look there are so many different curriculum options out there.  Gospel Light, Group, Lifeway Kids, Zondervan and so many more.  What have you found that works well for you and why?

TAKE A MINUTE and post a comment so that we can all benefit from what you have discovered.

We're using Promiseland Large Group. The 5-G curriculum. The kids love it, and the different themes are fun. The small group component kind of bites, so don't waste your time/money there. Also, we've used Discipleship Junction (not the best), and are not looking at Discipleland by Karl Bastian which looks beautiful and very promising.

Thanks for the comment. I'm gonna have to look them up, but I guess I should be cautious about the small group component :)…Thanks!

Our childrens ministry has been using Lifeway since I believe lifeway started doing it. In the next few months were transitioning to first look and 252 basics from orange, however.

Our Youth last year made the transition from Lifeway to Simply Youth Ministry's Live! curriculum shortly after I was hired, however I have been rather disappointed with it as a sunday school curriculum, and we will be switching to xp3 from orange as well at the same time as our childrens ministry.
