The Monday Morning Debrief – 10/25

Here are 5 Questions to ask yourself, reflect on and/or change from this past week:

  1. What is something you have learned this past week (either personally, ministry wise or through your devotions)? How are you going to put that into practice this week?
  2. What are your plans for Halloween?  It comes up on a Sunday night (typical youth group night), so you are either going to go for it and do a regular meeting or you are going to adjust your plans.  What will you do and why?
  3. Take a minute and evaluate your past weeks events. How did they go? Did you accomplish yours goals?
  4. Identify and call between 3-5 fringe students.  These students are ones who come but are not quite engaged fully or are not feeling fully accepted.  Give them a call and check in with them, see how they are doing.  This might be a good exercise for all your volunteer leaders to do.  It’s a great way to connect with students.
  5. How are you doing with curriculum?  Are you scheduled up through Christmas?  If not, give some thought on what you could do for your next message series and start prepping.
