Children’s Ministry Q of the Month: Recruiting Volunteers

This month’s Children’s Ministry Question of the Month maybe sounds simple but if you work in children’s ministry you know it is not as simple as it sounds.  Children’s ministry depends so much on volunteers and it seems like there can never be too many.

So the Question of the month is how are you recruiting volunteers to help you on Sunday mornings and other events?  How effective have you been at doing it and are there any tricks to the trade that you have found better than others?

TAKE A MINUTE and post a thought or 2 so we can be helping each other recruit more volunteers.

I have asked my current Children's Ministry helpers to invite their friends and acquaintances to serve with them. My hope is people will agree to serve alongside someone they know and trust. It's much easier to try something out when you're not alone! This is a new process for us, so I can't honestly say what our success rate will be. Praying it will be positive!
