It’s Orange ’11 Week!

It’s actually here!  Tomorrow morning my Student Ministry Director and I fly down to Atlanta for Orange ’11.  As I said in my week of Orange posts in February, I am really excited to do a few things there:

  1. Network and meet new people.  I am an introvert by nature, but when I go to conferences and when I do ministry, I become very extroverted.  So, considering that I will be blogging all week and trying to learn from other Family Ministry Directors, I am going to be putting my extrovert skin on and meet as many new people as possible.
  2. Learn as much as I can.  With the lineup of speakers, seminars and just the sheer mass of people that are going to be at Orange ’11, I am excited to learn so much so that our family, student and children’s ministry at New Life can continue to grow and get better.  Considering that I am new at this whole “Family” ministry position, I am excited to learn from others (and blog about it too).

If you want to follow along with what I am doing or where you can find me, check out all the cool apps and tools I’ll be using this week here.

What are you excited to do at Orange ’11?  TAKE A MINUTE and post a comment.
