What makes a great Camp experience for you?

This week I am at CIY Move in Salisbury, MD with my student ministry group.  It has been a great week so far and I am really looking forward to see how the week ends and what kind of impact this week will have on my students.

Over the years I have been apart of a number of Camps from various organizations.  Whether it was a camp within a denomination, or Adventures in Mission or Young Life, I have seen some really good camps and, unfortunately, some really bad camps.

This led me to think, “what makes a great camp experience”?  For me, I think it is for my students to have fun, build friendships and grow in their relationship with Christ.  If those things happen, then I feel my camp experience would have been well worth it as it helped students and helped our youth program get stronger.

But what about you?  What do you think makes a great camp experience for you?  Post a comment below.  I would love to see what is discussed.
