Stop trying to be Superman
In ministry, it is easy to fall into the Superhero trap as the person who saves the day. But when we do that we take the focus off where it should be.
Over time I have discovered 3 ways to combat the Superhero complex.
- Surround yourself with a team…so it’s not all about you.
- Get a slap in the face…so it’s not all about you.
- Keep the focus on the Lord…so it’s not all about you.
When we make it all about what we do, we can develop the Superhero complex. So keep the focus on where it needs to be…the Lord and not other places…you. T
