Job Change: Ending & Starting well

Episode 49 Show Notes:

Podcast Icon

Everyone in ministry will have to make a job change at one time or another in their career.  It stinks but rarely are the people who stay in one job their entire career.

That is why Tom brought back Ryan Reed to the podcast.  This past summer Ryan made a job change from a church in California to a church in Florida (rough life). Together they will talk about:

  1. How things ended at his past church
  2. How he started off strong at his new church
  3. Tom’s experiences with a transition from one church to the other.

Spring time is THE time when most people begin to start looking for a job change. Either you are thinking about moving on or interviewing for a new position. Regardless, it is important to transition well from your old church/ministry to your new one.  Every decision you make is so key to ending well and starting strong.

What do you think? How have you been successful making a ministry transition from one job to another? Share below or on social media using the hashtag #ymsidekick.  Join the conversation.
