Church communications is not a new idea. It’s been happening for centuries. However, digital communications has been very new in the past few years. The issue with digital communication is that it is ever changing and growing all the time. What was new 6 months ago is already old. So how do you know where to spend your time and what to do? More importantly, what are the tools you need in your tool belt to be successful in it?

Enter Adam McLaughlin. He has been involved in digital church communications for years and published a post on his blog, Church Marketing Ideas a while back entitled “11 Free Tools for Church Communications Teams“.  So, in today’s episode, Tom and Adam talk about:

  • Adam’s background and where he is from originally (hint, it’s not a warm area)
  • Some essential FREE tools that Adam shares about

If you want to connect with Adam you can read his blog here and listen to his podcast here. You can also find him on Twitter (twitter.com/adam_mclaughlin). He is very active on social media so definitely hit him up if you have a question.
